Headache Cooperative of the Pacific
We welcome and encourage attendance of all residents, fellows and students at our annual conference. There are up to twenty (20) trainee/fellow/student awards available that will be given based on abstract submission. Each winner will be awarded $500. The top four (4) applicants will be asked to present a 15 minute presentation. All award winners are required to provide a poster to be viewed in our virtual poster hall for the duration of the conference.

The Headache Cooperative of the Pacific (HCOP) Board of Directors and Program Committee invite you to join them for the 14th Annual HCOP Winter Conference being held virtually January 29 & 30, 2021. In response to the unprecedented impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the global economy, public health, and the HCOP community, we have created an innovative and interactive virtual experience for our participants. The HCOP Winter Conference brings together the West Coast's leading headache experts. This two-day, educational and informative event, will provide you with the necessary tools and best practices to better diagnose and treat headache patients.
The 14th Annual HCOP Winter Conference boasts a truly impressive lineup and includes distinguished thought-leaders such as our keynote speaker, Marcelo Bigal, MD, PhD of Ventus Therapeutics. Additionally, we will have 7 pre-recorded panel sessions and 6 pre-recorded didactic sessions that can be viewed at your leisure before the start of the conference. Attendees will be given the opportunity to submit questions to the panels and didactic session speakers that will be answered during a Q&A session during the main conference. Some of the faculty participating in our panel discussions include Peter J. Goadsby, MD, PhD, FAHS, current president of the American Headache Society (AHS), Kathleen B. Digre, MD, FAHS, immediate past-president of AHS, Andrew C. Charles, MD, FAHS, president-elect of AHS and David W. Dodick, MD, FAHS, past president of AHS. Also speaking this year are Lars Edvinsson, MD, PhD of Lund University Hospital, Frank Porreca, PhD of the University of Arizona, Alexandra J. Sinclair, MBCHb, MRCP, PhD of the University College Birmingham, Hans-Cristoph Diener, MD, PhD of University Duisburg-Essen, Allan Purdy, MD, FAHS, FRCPC of Dalhousie University and Richard B. Lipton, MD of Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
